Rosslyn Castle

An ambitious project to repair and restore one of Midlothian's most historic sites.  Rosslyn Castle is Category A Listed, is a short walk from Rosslyn Chapel and sits on the edge of a dramatic gorge in Roslin Glen.  The project included the reroofing of the Great Hall and Tower, the consolidation of the Castle's stonework, creating a modern living/kitchen/dining space and the integration of a new heating system utilising previously redundant lower level medieval vaults.  The castle now provides popular upgraded holiday accommodation, operated and managed by The Landmark Trust.
